My Dream
Let’s talk about dreams. There are all kinds of dreams when we’re little. There’s the ‘happily ever after’ kind of dreams, the dreams that invoke unrecognizable images like those found with serious hallucinating drugs, dreams that produce fear and anxiety, and so on. All of these crazy dreams have one thing in common….they wake you up, but they never really take you anywhere, except to the bathroom to get a drink of water!
But as we get older, there is another kind of dream. It’s a call to do something bigger or different than we are right now. It’s that thing that eats at us, keeping us awake at night; a never-ending chain of thoughts leading and guiding us towards a future…or at least the possibility of one. Some call it a passion, but whatever it is, you just know deep down that if you don’t pursue it, you’ll probably regret it for the rest of your life.
I think God opens doors, inviting us to walk into seasons of great possibilities….dreams. And if we are courageous enough to take the first step, He just might take us down roads we thought we’d never travel, to see beauty we could never imagine on our own, to soar to heights that no plane could ever reach…to experience things on such a real and honest level that it changes us forever.
I am walking into a season of my life that involves people. It involves every heart out there that ever dared to dream, that did and their dreams were shattered or put on hold, locked away or stolen from them. My dream is to help people re-capture their’s ….to help unlock the deep places of their heart where real life change happens between them and God.
I do drama sketches. I become other people and hide behind voices, clothing and characters….so others don’t have to. I attempt to draw out emotions through the everyday stories of people, in hopes that it might provoke a thought, a moment of self-examination, a step towards positive change in people’s lives. Can watching drama do that? I’m convinced that it can. Rarely do I meet an individual, young or old, male or female, child or adult that doesn’t like and appreciate a good story. Jesus built his whole ministry around stories in order to drive people towards a deeper understanding.
It’s a journey one that involves dreams, if He is allowed to have soul access to change the corners of your heart, than change awaits around the corners of your life. That is how it has been and continues to be for me….my passion and prayer is that it happens for you as well.

dreamer, an artist, a dramatist, a singer, a dancer, swimmer, teacher, worshipper, a passionate and strong willed woman, God chaser, seeking to discover who He created me to be, honest at heart, open, and willing to change, real and authentic through and through. Laughter is my middle name, my favorite quote is, those who can’t laugh at themselves leave the job to others…I am that other, I am a story teller, humility is my learned trait, pride comes more naturally, I am an addict…food is my drug of choice, learning to surrender that part of me to the Lord, abstinence from these addicting foods (aka sugar and flour) is my daily quest. I am a wife to a wonderful man of God, the love of my life, and proud mother of a precious little dog, a confused cuddley kitty, and one ginormous rabbit. Yes…I have a rabbit. And there you have it me in a nut shell.
